Diana also holds several state licenses including a Real Estate License and a Community Association Management License. Diana is on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Real Estate Council and is a proud member of Attorneys Title Insurance Fund.
In addition to her membership with the Florida Bar, Diana is a member of the American Bar Association’s Real Property and Probate section, Clearwater and Pasco County Bar Associations, and she is admitted to practice in Florida’s Federal Courts including the Middle, Northern, and Southern Districts. She proudly announces that she was sworn-in at the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C., May 2008.
Diana received her Juris Doctorate Degree at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with High Honors in Business Management from Eckerd College and an Associate of Science Degree from Vermont State College.
Diana Basta loves the practice of law. She decided to attend law school after her first child was born and never looked back. She has always been active in real estate and her extensive knowledge in that area of law comes from, what she considers, the school of hard knocks as she personally acquired, structured, and managed her own residential and commercial real estate.
Debbie Avery has worked in the accounting field for over 30 years. She has been employed, often in a supervisory capacity, for non-profits, federally funded programs, a city government, and in private industry. She is well versed in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and tax returns. Debbie has handled substantial accounts receivables and payables, and maintained large payrolls. Aside from her exceptional accounting skills, Debbie has a passion for helping others and that passion extends to animals. She is always rescuing an animal in need. Just ask her 4 dogs!
Terri Dipinto has been in the legal field for more than twenty years and is a highly skilled paralegal. Terri comes to us with a multitude of legal experience including civil litigation, employment law, estate planning, probate, corporate law and private foundations. Terri attended Lakeland Community College in Willoughby, Ohio. Terri is also a licensed realtor and is very comfortable in the real estate practice. Terri, like many others in the firm, is an animal lover. She volunteers for the Suncoast Animal League and also for the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce. Terri began working at the Davis Basta Law Firm shortly after the firm opened its doors. She left for a brief sabbatical and has returned to us where she was welcomed with open arms. We feel privileged to have her here.
Beejal Thakore joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2012. Mrs. Thakore has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2008. Mrs. Thakore is also licensed to practice law in the Middle District of Florida. Mrs. Thakore has prior experience in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation, first party property insurance claims, and creditors’ rights.
Mrs. Thakore graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2004 earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology. She obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2007.
In her free time, Mrs. Thakore enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Ryan is a member of the Florida Bar and is a licensed real estate broker in both Florida and Nebraska. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration/Finance from The University of Nebraska at Kearney and has extensive additional training in real estate investment, valuation, and management. He attended the University of Nebraska, College of Law, where he focused his legal education on real estate transactions, negotiations, business entities, wills and trusts.
Ryan has an extensive real estate background that includes residential and commercial sales, land development, property rehabilitation, and large scale commercial property management. Prior to practicing law, he managed properties ranging from mobile homes to regional shopping centers and understands the issues landlords and tenants face. From simple residential landlord-tenant disputes to complex commercial real estate transactions, lease disputes, or property valuation protests, Ryan has the depth of knowledge and legal training to deliver measurable results.
